Navigating YOur Faith Journey

As we walk out our faith in a real world, we can find times and seasons challenging.  We can feel lost, uninspired, overwhelmed, frustrated and tired.  Jesus has given us great inspiration and practical application to help us on the long journey of faith, relationships, direction and discipleship.  Allow these principles to guide/direct you along.

  • I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

When we are struggling we need to double down on connection instead of exertion.  Connect with God & others in meaningful ways!

  • I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 3:8

When we are tired and overwhelmed, we need a second wind, a fresh breath to replenish us.  Allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and spirit.

  • When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. Luke 5:19

When it seems you've tried everything, maybe it's time to remove obstacles in your path and humble yourself before Jesus.

  •  “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God. Luke 9:62

When you feel like giving up and going back to what's easy, remember that you can't change the past or manage the outcome.  Hold tight to Jesus and look to the horizon, not the rear-view mirror of your life.

  •  As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. Luke 7:38

When the road is long and the battle is fierce, take time to intentionally worship Jesus.  Pour out your heart, frustrations and desires and allow Him to soothe your soul.
